Can overjet 11mm be treated with Invisalign? (Photo)

Question

I had braces about 8 years ago. They extracted two lower bicuspids that were overcrowded but said they could not do anything about the overjet without surgery. After my wisdom teeth erupted and me not wearing the retainers my teeth moved again and now I think the overjet is more visible (especially the two front teeth) but I would prefer to not wear braces again. I've been to three orthodontist and I've gotten different answers.

You can do amazing corrections with the DNA Appliance.  As you grow the Maxilla wider the lower jaw will probably move forward and you can retract the maxillary anteriors.  Too bad they extracted the lower bicuspids because it was not necessary.You will also a achieve a full wide smile that is far more attractive. Because of the missing two teeth on the bottom, Invisalign can't fully correct the extra overjet.  It could improve it some and might require some reshaping between the teeth, but it definitely wouldn't get things perfect without surgery to move your bottom jaw forward.If you'd like to do a quick and easy simulation of what jaw surgery looks like, bite so your top and bottom front teeth touch each other, let your lips relax together and have someone take a profile picture from the side.
