1 week in my Invisalign treatment. Can I cancel it?

Im one week in my Invisalign treatment and I'm having second thoughts about it. Basically, after doing further research I've found out that I need a lot of attachments, the traces are uncomfortable and after Invisalign is done I need retainers. My problem is that my teeth aren't that bad, I have a gap between my upper middle teeth and my teeth protrude out a little, so to me the glamour of straight teeth doesn't outweigh the nuisance of keeping them straight.

The wonderful feature associated with Invisalign is that it is a customized treatment made just for you.  Unfortunately, once you accept and pay for treatment, there is typically no canceling because your doctor has paid a substantial lab fee in order to have your aligners made.  It is unfortunate that you are unhappy with your treatment.  Your best bet is to consult with your doctor and discuss alternative treatments.

Dear Enrique, I must say this is the first time I have come across this. Invisalign treatment costs are based on lab fees an thats why they are quite expansive to start with. Since the dentist must have had to pay them upfront, I don't think you normally get an option to cancel it. Though you can chose not to wear them or go any further with treatment. Please check with your dentist. I hope that answers your query.
