Trauma to revision rhino 3 weeks post op - Can lateral osteotomy ONLY be performed a third time?

I’m 8 months post revision rhino op. At 3 weeks post op, suffered blunt trauma to tip of nose. Swelling followed, now there is sensation and pain in nose for past 6 months. Also the sides of nose are fatter. Can lateral osteotomy ONLY be performed a third time with little to no complications for natural results? Please straightforward answers only. I am in pain.

Based on your photo, you appear to desire a drop of columellar lowering on profile view. Depending on your condition, microdroplet Siliikon-1000 nasal injections may be considered for achieving several millimeters of lowering on profile view. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph

It's not clear what you are looking to achieve with a 4th surgery. If you want permanent bridge raising for less of a curve, you may consider a permanent, non-surgical nose job with microdroplet Silikon-1000. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph

I even think that the "nose photoshopped" picture shows more projection than I think is in an ideal range. Then, sometimes, when you deproject a nose, it makes it *seem* as though the tip dropped, that the nose is longer from top to bottom. So it's important to look at that factor, and elevate...

In our experience, microdroplet Silikon-1000 nasal injections may be considered for achieving permanent nostril lowering. Sometimes asymmetrical nostril retraction may result after previous rhinoplasty. An examination would be necessary to determine your candidacy for a permanent non-surgical...

Hi @Phenomenal451973! Swelling after a rhinoplasty can last up to 1 year. I would wait the full 12 months and if you are still not satisfied, I would consider a revision rhinoplasty. Best of luck!
