Can the post-surgical sports bra lead to the forming of bruises? Should I be worried and wear a different bra/ no bra? (photo)

If the sports bra is not too tight it is unlikely to cause bruising. If it was
causing the bruises to form it should do it on both sides. The bruising is
likely related to the surgery. It may be that your surgeon did more dissection
on the left side. I think you can wear the bra without worrying that it is
going to cause harm. That said, if you did not want to wear a bra - it will
likely not impact your result. I advise patients to wear a bra for comfort and
support but I don't think it shapes the result. The best person to discuss your
bruising with is your surgeon and they can explain why you have more on one
side then the other.

If the bra isn't uncomfortable it is unlikely to be causing the bruising. Keep all scheduled follow ups with your surgeon for his advice and evaluation. Good luck, Dean Vistnes.
