Hello, First of all I'm Dutch so sorry for my maybe bad English. I have surgery planned for 725cc, high profile, Motiva implants (13.5cm wide). I had 2 pregnancies and had a E cup then. Now I have a B and my doctor said this will fit. I do want 'extra' breasts. My breast is 29cm wide measured in a straight line from side to side.
Answer: Implant size and type Dear Tasteful9700, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Do you agree that 725cc, high profile, round, under the muscle will fit? The best implant size, shape and texture are determined based on many factors, which include the chest wall measurements, the skin elasticity, your desired results, and the skills and techniques of your surgeon. It would be difficult to give an assessment without a physical examination, so what you should do is to trust your board certified plastic surgeon and make sure he has ample experience in performing breast augmentation procedures. Based on the photo and your description, you may achieve a great result with implants smaller than 725cc if you are not planning on increasing your breast size to a relatively large one compared to what you have now. Best of luck.

Answer: Is a 725cc. Implant proper for me for an augmentation? I believe that you can have a wonderful breast augmentation if the correct implant size is chosen for you. This can best be determined by an in office examination by a very competent Plastic Surgeon. I believe that your implant size could be much smaller than 725cc. and still give you a very nice result.Good luck to you!Best regards,Frank Rieger M.D. Tampa Plastic Surgeon
