What is the pain level for series of light chemical peels. How long to wait in between?

I'm planning to have a series of light chemical peels. The first went great. 1) If I wait 2 weeks between peels, can I expect similar experiences with my future peels? I'm worried they will hurt more now that a layer of skin has been removed. 2) Will it hurt less if wait longer 3-4 weeks between peels? And 3) should I be counting 2 weeks from the last peel, or two weeks from when I *finished* peeling?

All of this is determined on what type of peel you are having. They really are all different. With most light peels that have no "down time"; they can be done every 2-4 weeks. The light peels should not hurt, because with a light peel  only the epidermis (outer layer) is effected. If you need a deeper treatment there are intermediate and deep peels available.
