I'm 37 had 2 children by c section. My baby is 4 months. Thinking about tt, but I hear the muscle repair is the hardest. Can I get a tt without muscle repair. I would only have help for about 2 weeks. And can only take off 1 week from work, good thing I work from home on a computer

Answer: Tummy tuck, no diastasis repair Thanks for your inquiry. I do rectus muscle plication for the majority of my tummy tuck patients but it's not always required. Your plastic surgeon would be able to tell if you have a rectus diastasis, and if a repair is absolutely needed.

Answer: Skin only tummy tuck I agree with the other posts. If you know you have rectus diastasis then why would you cheat yourself of the muscle tightening portion of the procedure. I feel you'd regret it. But yes, you COULD have a skin only TT. I use Exparel as well and used On-Q pain pumps before. BOTH really have helped decrease post -op pain. Best of luck to you.
