This is 7 months post op. I would prefer to not have to shave my head, but if it is not possible I understand.
Answer: See a dermatologist for the cobblestoning. Some doctors try steroid creams. It may help and it may be the least invasive. There is no easy solution. You need an exam before considering any treatment options.

Answer: Treatment of cobble-stoning after hair transplant Cobble stoning are uncommon side effects of hair transplants and they happen with larger than normal amount of tissue is moved to the recipient area. The best treatment is repeated shaving of the area (shaving excision of the cobblestoned area) under supervision of a surgeon who is familiar with the process. If you cannot shave all your hair you can do it in stages and shave smaller areas or a few of the grafts at a time until achieving a complete flat scalp.

Answer: Cobblestonning on the scalp This is a very difficult problem to address. We usually don't see this in our modern times, but they were common in the old days before 1995, when many patients came to me for this and my treatment. Before making a recommendation, I would suggest that you see a doctor for a second opinion, one that understands this problem. It is not an easy fix. Demabrasion leaves scars on the head so it is not an easy solution either and for dark skinned people, it removes the pigments that cause the dark color, leaving the skin with white patches.

Answer: Cobble stone after hair transplant This is one of the rare side effects of Hairtransplant. You either have to do repeated shaving or derma abrasion to get rid of it and stay under supervision of a dermatologist during this process.
