Can you have laser lipo on the abdomen after tummy tuck?

Post tummy tuck patients may have power assisted Lipo (I completed same today for a patient who had tummy tuck 18 months ago). You should wait 6-12 months before undergoing Lipo after a tummy tuck. In order to avoid an internal burn I would recommend that you consider power assisted liposuction without laser. Ideally, you would intensify your exercise regimen and follow a low sugar/salt/fat diet with the goal of avoiding any future procedures.

Liposuction can be performed after tummy tucks if there is fat that is accessible.  However, this should not be performed for at least 6 months if not a year after tummy tucks as there is still ongoing healing.  Liposuction after tummy tucks can take much longer to heal with more swelling due to the scarring of the tummy tuck.  Seek out a specialist who does revision surgeries.  Best of luck.

The answer is yes you can have laser/vaser/PAL/etc any type of lipo after a tummy tuck.  Having said that, I would suggest waiting a minimum of 6 months post tummy tuck prior to having any liposuction if you are planning to have liposuction in the same area.  If you planning to have liposuction in other areas such as the arms, back bra roll, thighs etc you can do that prior to that time frame!

You must be completely healed from your tummy tuck before any type of invasive treatment like laser liposuction, typically 6-12 months post procedure.

Yes, you can have laser lipo after a tummy tuck. Laser lipo is preferred over regular liposuction because it melts the fat and the skin can be tighten. We have done this in our office with clients.
