Is Lifestyle Lift a proprietary procedure and if so, does that mean only lifestyle lift physicians and offices were able to perform the procedure?
Answer: Lifestyle Lift and Contoura Thank you for your question. As the founder and inventor behind the Contoura procedure I can tell you that there are striking differences. Lifestyle Lift Center was a marketing company that used a mini cheek lift to build their prominence. The Contoura procedure as originally described by me in 2009 is a procedure where we take fat grafting presented in a certain manner and are able to correct volume loss in the face. The second component of The Contoura procedure, is using a lifting procedure along with fat grafting. In this manner we are correcting volume loss and gravitational changes. I hope this helps and should you have anymore questions please do not hesitate to contact our office in Ponta Vedra beach Florida.

Answer: Misconception There seems to be a big difference between fat grafting and a full facelift. A facelift will achieve objectives which fat grafting will not do. Likewise, depending upon your objectives, a facelift may not be needed. Although the LSL company is out of business, the techniques done were definitely not mini lifts, but were much more extensive and long lasting, which any experienced plastic surgeon could do. You would just be going to a surgeon who had a great deal of experience doing only faces. It's best for you to go to an experienced, qualified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Lifestyle Lift vs. Contoura Thank you for your question. My brother Roberto and I termed the Contoura procedure because we wanted to cut through a lot of the marketing and terminology that made it difficult for patients to make a decision regarding their concerns as well as solutions for those concerns. It was designed in part for those patients that need short recoveries or those with limitations regarding surgery. Simply put, the Contoura procedure is a fat transfer procedure performed under local anesthesia where the volume loss to the face is replenished using your own tissue. Because it is your own tissue, it survives the transfer and gives patients long term results. Recovery is very short (less than one week in most cases) and patients enjoy the results for many years. Contoura can address the hollowness under the eyes, cheek and temple volume loss, nasolabial folds, marionette folds as well as the pre jowl areas. A Lifestyle Lift procedure is a short-lasting facelift procedure that attempts to lift the superficial muscle of the face to counteract the effects of gravity. It does use incisions around the ears much like a traditional facelift, it is performed under local anesthesia and results typically last less than 5 years. Kind Regards,J. Answer: What's the difference between Lifestyle Lift and Contura? Are they the same procedure? Lifestyle Lift is a company that hired physicians/surgeons to perform face and neck lift surgery. Previously patients have considered the Lifestyle Lift™ as a specific type of face lift but the reality is that it is face and neck lift performed under local anesthesia to rejuvenate the face. Historically when the corporation first started these face lifts may have had shorter incisions or scars with less elevation of tissue. As the company continued many physicians/surgeons extended their incisions and tissue elevation to try to optimize and achieve long lasting results. The Lifestyle Lift is a surgical face and neck lift procedure. The Contura™ thread lift is a less invasive surgical procedure that uses minimal incisions and a braided thread to attempt to rejuvenate the neck. It is not a face and neck lift.
