CoolSculpting in legs for patient with Lymphedema URE?

Question

I am interested in getting the CoolSculpting in my left and right thighs (interior and exterior). I have lymphedema in my URE (right arm). Since the fat is expelled thru the lymphatic system, would this compromise my right arm? I would think since lymphatics flow from the extremity inward, that any fat cells being expelled from my legs would not even enter my right arm.

Body contouring procedures should be performed very carefully if at all.  you need a formal consultation to determine what is best.  body sculpting like liposuction may be more safe if done properly with water assisted removal.  Best, Dr. Emer.
