Assuming your heart issues are properly addressed and your condition is stable I see no reason why you wouldn't be a candidate for Cool Sculpting. You may want to start with a letter from your Cardiologist stating you are cleared to sit for several hours with a machine attached to your body. Take this letter with you to your next consult. You shouldn't have any issues.Best of luck to you!G. Robert Meger MD
Coolsculpting is best whenperformed on an area that has an excess number of fat cells. For example, women say, "When I gain weight, it goes straight to my belly." That means that you were born with more fat cells in your abdominal area. It would be great to perform coolsculpting in that area to reduce thenumber of fat cells there and make that are more proportional with the rest ofyour body. Then, if you gain weight, it will be more evenly distributedover your body. It won't just "go straight" to one area. The fat loss is permanentafter Coolsculpting. You typically lose 20-25% of the fat in the areatreated, each time you treat it. I have done it to myself and my staff. It is truly effective and has no down time. It does not require anesthesia so you are safe to have it done. Just have your two doctors discuss, just to be on the safe side and on the same page.Best of Luck,Sheila Nazarian
Sonobello requires local anesthesia plus sedation, and they (or your personal physician who performed your physical for them) have deemed you not a safe candidate for anesthesia or surgery. And thank them for that, as you don't want to find out you're having a problem after the procedure has started!Coolsculpting is non-surgical, non anesthetic, externally-delivered freezing of selected fatty tissue areas. It is performed by many physicians, each of whom we would hope is professional enough to determine if you are a candidate for Coolsculpting, just as someone has determined you are apparently NOT a safe candidate for liposuction via the Sonobello advertising/marketing procedure. I wold not recommend having Coolsculpting done at a spa where physician supervision is none to minimal. Please understand that it's not about what can or cannot be done; it's about what can or cannot be done SAFELY! That's a good thing. Best wishes! Dr. Tholen
I treat heart patients all the time for liposuction, if the patient is awake there is little risk from liposuction and no reason you cannot have the liposuction procedure. Coolsculpting is safe but cannot contour like body sculpting. Best, Dr. Emer.
I appreciate your question.Coolsculpting is a non invasive procedure and so you might be a candidatebest to speak to your heart doctorThe best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.best of luck!Dr Schwartz
