Should my columella/tip be THIS swollen still? (photos)

Thank you very much for enquire.It's too early to make value judgments with only 2 months after a rhinoplasty.Swelling after a rhinoplasty depends of the surgery complexity.In this regard, the nasal swelling Post-op It can last from two weeks to two months.To reduce this swelling, I recommend you perform delicates daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the face (around the nose) avoid sun exposure, and take pain/inflamation pills, as your surgeron precribe you.Kind regards, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

If you had an open rhinoplasty than the swelling in the columella can take a full year to improve. Ask your chosen surgeon....

If you had an open rhinoplasty (an incision across your columella), it can take quite a while for the swelling on the nasal tip to subside.  It's not unusual for this to be measured in months, and some days may be worse than others.  I would suggest you voice your concerns with your surgeon and obtain their input.

Sorry your nose is swelling for so long. Your photos are excellent.It is going to take more time.You might see if your doctor can do some low dose kenalog injections to try to speed up the resolution of the swelling.
