I came in looking for a breast lift. I've interviewed many docs for this but the detailed attention, professionalism and bedside manner made me sign up with Dr Rhee right away. He actually planned a breast reduction as a lift. More details to come. I am 4 months post op for the first of two surgeries. The second will be for saline implants. The staff. The scar treatment. The incredible results so far. Every single interaction with Dr Rhee has been consistent with his great care, concern and plan for my healing and outcome. Updated on 16 Aug 2023: Never did I want to lose the size of my breasts. Just wanted them upright again. Was told it was a two surgery process. First a ‘reduction as a lift’ to even the breasts so the reduction was on one breast to match the other. Then, implants to give the fullness. I recd the price for the first surgery and then asked for the second surgery price to decide if this was something I could afford and agreed to. The second surgery price was hand written. That turned out to be a mistake on my part. My breasts are SSOOO small as both sides received the reduction. I trust Dr. Rhee and knew the second surgery would ‘fix’ the size. Ready to move forward with the implants but the price went up thousands of dollars!!!! I’m so upset. Was told that’s the price so if I want to move forward it’s the higher price. I’m really upset. Angry at times as now I’m not happy if it’s only the one surgery. Updated on 6 Oct 2023: When Dr Rhee found out about the discrepancy, he more than fixed it. Bailey and Michele are wonderful and I’m back on track for the second surgery. I will post pics of before, after the reduction and then after the final. SO happy I found Dr Rhee. He has been consistently the most professional, caring and talented doctor. Updated on 19 Oct 2023: Posting my before and after reduction. I will be scheduling the implants shortly so I will update that process and pics too. I hope this helps someone. Dr. Rhee did a great job with the size of the areola - so happy with that! Also, evened out the breasts. Now to give me the upper pole volume so my breasts are as youthful as the rest of me :) (I'm almost 51). Updated on 23 Feb 2024: My plan was to get implants and had the surgery scheduled for it but after much research research, I didn’t have implants added. Instead, Dr. Rhee removed some more skin to tighten the package :). Here are some of the reasons I opted out of implants. IF my body doesn’t reject them, harden or cause other issues many women complain of, knowing that in 10 or possible 20 years they must come out or be exchanged, I can’t imagine the physical recovery at 70 or the costs associated at that point in life. What looked certain is that I would have to address the implants at some point before I die. SO many women have shared their experience and issues involving implants. Although I would love to have full and perky breasts, I’m happy to have smaller but perky breasts with no upkeep. Dr. Rhee spent so much time with me to make sure I had as much information as possible to make the right choice for me and was so kind when I changed my mind at pre-op. He is always so kind and has wonderful bedside manner. All of my many appointments he took the greatest care to make sure he knew what I wanted and explained how we could get there. SO happy with him and his nurses and medical assistants. Even the hospital staff could only rave about him and the great time and care he gives his patients. He is well respected at this hospital! I am very raw right now now but will update photos as I heal.
I have always liked my boobs. I turned 60 and noticed they were beginning to sag a bit. I didn’t want to see what they were going to look like in 5 years without a lift so I went to Dr. Rhee for a consultation. He has wonderful bedside manner and was very honest about options and outcomes. His assistant Michele is also wonderful. I was so comfortable with my decision. The hospital is beautiful and I received the very best care imaginable. There is nothing I would do differently. I am a happy lady. Updated on 13 Jul 2023: Well it has been 2 months since surgery in this pic. Using scar gel and making sure to wear a good bra during workouts. Dr. Rhee is wonderful. I have had several post op appointments. He really cared about results.
Dr Rhee and his team have been excellent to work with through the process for BA. They have been easy to get a hold of, answered all my questions, and the surgery went great! I am 4 day post surgery and very happy already with the results and looking forward to the full results after sweeping and settling. Updated on 22 Feb 2023: I had thought about doing this for a long time and now I’m a week out! It was so helpful to see pics of women my height/starting size etc and so hopefully this will be helpful to y’all out there! My pre-op size was 36a, and I am 36 C now with 475cc silicone. I think it’s just what I wanted- big enough, but still proportional for my body!
Dr. Rhee is the absolute best! I had researched many doctors for a desired tummy tuck. All reviews, personal testimonials and awards pointed to Dr Rhee. He is thorough, professional, kind and best of all, a perfectionist! My procedure went wonderful! I literally could not be more satisfied with the staff, processes and end result. So grateful to Dr. Rhee and staff for making my dream a reality. Your talents are unbelievable.

Very nervous but also excited got all of my preop testing done last week. Now just waiting. Saw Dr. Rhee and Michelle last month and they were great as always. I’ve called the office multiple time with questions and they’ve been quick to answer and so helpful. Definitely happy with choosing hem and feel completely comfortable with Dr. Rhee performing the surgery. I know I’m in good hands. Updated on 19 Jan 2023: Rough week but happy it’s over. Dr. Rhee has been exceptional with answering every call and question. The pain is not excruciating. The only time where it gets excruciating is with a cough or sneeze. Getting up and down is really hard but my lift chair I bought on marketplace before this has been so helpful. I highly recommend a lift chair. I bought a toilet riser as well but honestly could have done without that. I’m fine as long as I just use my arms and legs. I’ll post more updates later. Updated on 27 Jan 2023: Saw Dr. Rhee today and started scar treatment with silicone tape. So happy with how everything is looking! Dr. Rhee sat with me again today and thoroughly answered all my questions. I’ll update again soon! Updated on 5 Feb 2023: Still sore and low t doing things but much better than last week. Updated on 11 Feb 2023: I’ve seen lots of interesting looking TT belly buttons. Idk what technique my doc used but I think he nailed it! Updated on 17 Feb 2023: None of my pre surgical clothes fit. The swelling is no joke! Updated on 25 Feb 2023: I expressed my concerns to my Dr. He waited in office (I live n hour away) for me to get there to see me that day. He put me in a tighter compression garment. Hoping that helps. I see him again in 2 weeks.I went back to work this week. It went well. I feel pretty good. Still fatigued and sore but overall pretty good! I’m just hoping my belly is eventually flat and the bloating goes away. not sure what’s causing it. So happy my doctor addressed it this week. Dr. Rhee has to be the most patient oriented doctor I’ve ever met. Him and Michelle are incredible. I know I’m in good hands.I’ll update again soon. Here’s an updated scar pic too. I hope this is helpful to someone!
I am a 44 year old mom of 4. My stomach and breasts were in pretty bad shape and I've wanted to do a mommy makeover for years. This year I decided it's my time, and went for it. I chose Dr Rhee because I felt like he valued doing my surgery safely over anything else, and didn't over-promise results. I am a former smoker which plays a big part and he was very thorough in explaining what can be done and how the blood vessels effect surgery and healing. He listened to what I wanted and gave me realistic options based on my specific health and body. I chose a tummy tuck and breast reduction. I felt like I was in good hands, and I was right :) I'm almost 3 weeks post-op and I love my results! The first few days after surgery was very rough, and the pain was much more than I expected, but it gets better as each days passes. It was hard to breathe due to being pulled so tight in the chest area and very hard to get comfortable. A recliner is an absolute must in my opinion. Propping up pillows in bed just does not support you enough and it's too painful to try to move in and out of the bed and adjust yourself. I slept in my recliner for the 1st two weeks and have just recently been able to start laying on my side. I got the two drains by my breasts out the day after surgery, and got the abdomen drain out at 3 days and 1 week post-op. The drains weren't fun but it wasn't hard to take care of them. I bought a little fanny pack drain holder thing from Amazon and it made the drains so much easier. Even though the drains are out now, I continue to produce some extra fluid so I have to go in to the office every few days so Dr Rhee can aspirate the fluid out manually. Sounds horrible but my abdomen is completely numb so you can't feel it. Dr Rhee prefers to take the drains out after about a week and manually drain any extra fluid in a sterile manner rather than leaving the drains in longer and risking infection. Again I appreciate how he values safety over convenience. I appreciate how often they have you come into the office, from day 1. They change your dressings and stay on top of everything to make sure everything is healing exactly as it should. When my drain was leaking, they had me come in and got that taken care of right away. I have felt very well taken care of during the entire recovery process and am so glad I chose Dr Rhee and his team to do my surgery. I am almost 3 weeks post-op now and I am glad I chose to do this, even though it was so rough in the beginning. My stomach is flat, my breasts are perky and cute, and I couldn't be happier. I am still swollen and will probably be for a while but I still love how I look! My incisions are looking good and are all closed up. I bought an extra faja from Amazon that is a little tighter than the one I got after surgery, and I bought the ab board and waist wrap thing, which I love. I wear the tighter faja with the ab board during the day, and the post op compression garment with the waist wrap at night. The wrap is great because you can position it as high or low or tight or loose as you want, and it keeps me supported so I can lay on my side. Ill post links to the items in the comments. I've added pictures and will update this post as time passes. Updated on 10 Sep 2022: I’m almost 4 weeks post-op now! These are some pics from early last week. Everything is healing very nicely and I’ve stared using silicone scar tape. Still getting manually drained every few days but should be done with that next week as I’m only outputting abt 10cc’s a day. My belly button is almost all healed and I should only have to pack it for a few more days. It looks really cute :) The lower part of my belly is pretty swollen. It’s hard to sleep because of very tight compression needed to reduce the swelling. I wear an ab board inside my faja and use one of those belly wraps during the day to wrap it all up tight and thats helping with the swelling a lot, just pretty uncomfortable. I still have a big crease in the skin above my bellybutton from the muscle tightening, but the doc says it will relax more as my swelling decreases. This surgery was alot more painful than I expected, and the recovery is not fun at all. It’s been really rough, but to have this flat, tight tummy and perky breasts is indescribable! Having this new body, being able to wear clothes and not worrying about my big ugly hanging belly and back rolls showing through my clothes, it feels so freaking good, making all the pain worth it Updated on 11 Sep 2022: 26 days post-op :)Updated on 11 Sep 2022: Wow! What a difference!
There are not enough superlatives to describe what a wonderful surgeon Dr. Rhee is. Dr. Rhee and his team are just phenomenal. I came to see Dr. Rhee to see what the options were to remove stretched and overlapping abdominal skin due to medical issues experienced previously. My husband loved me regardless of the extra skin or not and supported me throughout this process. Dr. Rhee was professional, kind and honest about what he could do to improve the visual of my abdominal area which I have hated for years. A week after surgery and looking at myself and the photos, I was brought to tears and I am not a crier! The difference, not only from a physical/visual perspective, but my mental perspective and what I had thought about myself has changed me forever. Truly, Dr. Rhee changed my life and I do not say that lightly. In March, I went to the Bahamas and wore a bikini for the 1st time in decades and was comfortable and proud! Amazing transformation and an absolutely amazing surgeon!
Dr. Rhee and his team provided exceptional and professional guidance, care, and results for my breast augmentation. Every single person I encountered along the way was courteous, understanding, supportive, helpful, and knowledgable. I'm in love with my results and I'm so grateful to everyone who played a part in my journey! Dr. Rhee is incredibly talented. He pays very close attention to the details to deliver the best results. During my consultation, he listened intently and provided honest feedback based on my goal pictures. I wanted natural looking breasts with a little projection and a size that would balance my figure. During my pre-op appointments, I agreed to a range of sizes and left the final decision up to Dr. Rhee while in surgery. I couldn't be happier with the size he selected (350cc mod plus profile) based on my wish list/goal pictures. My incisions are very small because he uses the Keller Funnel technique. My recovery was a breeze with zero pain or bruising. Dr. Rhee is a true perfectionist! Thank you so much to Dr. Rhee and the rest of the team at the Center for Plastic Surgery at Castle Rock and Castle Rock Adventist Hospital!
This surgeon is a class act. Before seeing Dr Rhee I consulted with two other plastic surgeons with similar experience and credentials. When I left their office, I felt unsure about whether I would ever get this surgery and absolutely certain I would not want to be a patient of either. They were cold, impersonal and their prices were impractical. Dr Rhee's office got me in for a consultation smoothly. The moment we spoke I knew he would be it. He has perfect bedside manner, considers your goals with surgery and speaks frankly about what is or is not possible based on your situation. Then their lovely nurse manager provided the cost estimate and I was completely sold. 3 months later my surgery was completed and I could not be more impressed with their care and professionalism.
I received a tummy tuck and a breast reduction/lift from Dr. Rhee. I had 5 c-sections and was very nervous about having further surgeries but also was frustrated with my stretched out skin and c section shelf. Dr.Rhee came so highly recommended and I felt completely safe in his hands. I could not be more thrilled with my results. Dr. Rhee and his staff have gone above and beyond to make sure that my scars are healing as well as possible, including putting in the time to get my insurance to approve special tape. I wish I had done the procedure two years earlier when I had my first consult with Dr.Rhee!
While there will be post surgical scar evident from your prior surgery, this should not preclude you having a standard abdominoplasty. As always, a thorough pre surgical medical workup would be warranted.
These are probably questions best answered by your operative surgeon. He/She would probably have the best insight into your incision type, which may be the source of some of your skin numbness, but not your nipple numbness. Generally, implant placement is what places the nerve to your nipple at risk. Usually, the numbness is temporary.
It may be possible for you to safely have your procedure performed, but it would be prudent for you to have a complete pre operative assessment before surgery. Not all irregular hear rhythms are equivalent, and some may require more planning and preparation than others. Depending on the nature of your particular arrhythmia, you may require a formal evaluation by a cardiologist before embarking your procedure. There may be some fairly straightforward ways to minimize your risk. Your procedure may be safer if done in a hospital setting with the ability to observe you overnight. This would allow you to be treated if there is an arrhythmia issue, as well as have bedside nursing available to help alleviate some of your anxiety.
Based on your photos, I don't believe that you will be happy with an augmentation alone. Given your desire to be a D cup, a larger implant may be used, but it's likely you will still require some skin tightening. The nature of of the lift will depend on your expectations and an in person exam, but going without it may result in tissue sagging below your implant. A qualified surgeon should be able to go over this with you during your consult. Best wishes with your decision!
Unfortunately, as you have heard from others, there likely is not a great non-surgical method to reshape your breasts. The good news, however, is that you will, most likely be able to address the sagging, areolar size, and symmetry with surgery. You will need an in person exam with a board certified physician, who can determine the appropriate procedure for you. You will have the 'anchor' type scars, which are noticeable early, but after they fade, will be quite acceptable.Good luck!
