Want more projection in upper poles - Would using filler affect fat retention?

Question

Hello I had an augmentation with fat transfer 3 months ago. I’m very happy with the results and retention and don’t want more volume. I’d like however more projection in the upper poles, cleavage area. I’m very skinny and absolutely cannot undergo another round of lipo (i hated the post op of lipo and can’t do it again). I’m considering doing a minor top up in cleavage with fillers. Would it affect fat retention? Could I do it now? Are there any major concerns, other than it being temporary?

fat viability depends a lot of surgeon technique. The fat has to be placed back into the buttocks as soon as possible so that it has a greater chance of survival. It has to be placed carefully so that not too much fat is placed in only one area. You will need to get a lot of fillers in order to get some visible improvement so it is not probably the best choice.

Most fillers like Juvederm will not give you the volume you need, but Sculptra would be the best one to try. More projection is more volume and probably would be best with implants placed behind the muscle and more stable as well.
