I’m a petite build and want to keep the curves in my hips and outer thighs. If you specifically let your surgeon know there’s a particular part of your body where you do NOT want fat taken from (e.g. outer thighs -but happy for fat to be taken from inner thighs), will the surgeon still listen to this, if they find that during the operation they find they aren’t able to pull quite the optimum amount of fat?

Fat transfer requires carefully liposuctioning fat, processing it, and injecting it. The injection part essentially needs to be drop by drop. If too much fat is injected in any one spot, the centre of the clump of fat will not be near enough to healthy vascularized cells and will not survive. ...
It would be hard to determine without a thorough examination. I would recommend that you visit your doctor or another experienced plastic surgeon for assessment and get recommendations based on that.
3/4 cup size increase is about average for one fat transfer procedure. The fat transfer volumes to each breast may range from 240 cc to 360 cc in most cases. About 50% of the fat survives, on average.
Thinner patients are outstanding candidates in my opinion, because the fat transferred is...
