Breast pigmentation & no feeling in lower portion of breast after reduction

Question

I am 4 years post breast reduction. I have no feeling in the lower portion of my breasts. Is it normal for the skin pigmentation to be a more bluish/purple hue in that area?

Changes in sensation are a risk of the breast reduction procedure.  If sensation has not returned after one year the change is often permanent.  The pigmentation concerns that you mentioned should be evaluated by your surgeon as she/he is most familiar with the details of your surgery and how you progressed through recovery.
