Can I have upper eyelid fillers?

Yes, upper eyelid filler injection is definitely possilble. I was the first person to ever publish on use of filler for upper eyelids. Expertise is important.

Upper eyelid hollowness is a dramatically underappreciated, yet incredibly important component of aging in the eyelids. With normal aging, our upper eyelid fat pads tend to retract and expose this upper lid hollowness, those with “deep set eyes“ are especially prone, and unfortunately old-school upper eyelid surgery that is overly subtractive can artificially create this hollowness early, actually looking worse than it did before surgery - the before and after photo in the link below resulted from overly subtractive upper eyelid surgery with another surgeon, and you can see the results after revolumization of the upper lids. Correcting this hollowness can happen with fat or filler injections into very specific planes of the upper eyelid, or transposing and rearranging the upper eyelid fat pads to provide fullness, as you see in this surgeon’s view video, borrowing the excess fat to move into the areas lacking fullness!
To ensure you are receiving the highest level of care, seek out a modernly trained, new-school dermatologic surgeon, oculoplastic surgeon, facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon who is board certified and fellowship trained in one of these “core four” cosmetic specialties. filler is not recommended for the upper eyelid as there is a lot of vascularity in that region and complications can occur

upper eyelid filler is possible to improve hollowness and deep recessed eye appearance. Several fillers are optional including juvederm, belotero and restylane.

Yes, it is certainly possible to treat the upper eyelids with filler in an appropriate patient. A hyaluronic acid based filler such as Restylane or Juvederm should be used and microcannula will minimize bruising, swelling and vascular injury. 

Merril,Fullness can be restored to upper lids via placement of filler. Filler amount and technique (recommend placement via micro-cannulas) are both important to ensure an optimal outcome as the skin in this area is very thin. It is possible, but not a commonly requested area. Consult in person with an experienced and expert physician injector to understand your options.

Yes it is possible to have a small amount of a light filler in this area - it may not be easy to find someone who will do this as it is not a frequently-performed procedure, but it sounds as though it may well be appropriate for you, and by softening the hollow you describe it can give a pleasing result.
