How overweight can you be to get the fat transfer/grafting procedure done?

Fat transfer to the face requires a very small amount of fat ( teaspoons), and even thin patients have enough fat. For fat transfer to the breast, many patients have had success with modest amounts of fat, and essentially normal body weight.  In your situation, I would focus on making sure your expectations match the surgeons prediction of outcome. Fat transfer to the breast is not a straightforward procedure.

For  successful fat transfers, fat must be available to be transferred. I have some several women who were overweight and normal weight. Women who are underweight are often not good candidates. I would suggest finding a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who does fat transfers to discuss all your concerns.
