Tendons and muscles post operation: I got 500cc high profile under the muscles.

Question

I had surgery Feb 23, Everything has been good, I have pretty much resumed my every day life. I've noticed that My right side, when i cross my arm like to reach around my self e.g. shave under my other arm. When i reach across my self about a centimeter about my nipple line on the edge of where my skin starts to come off of my chest bone, it feels like a tendon is popping or like a muscle. its a pinching feeling. Im wondering what would cause that?

Hello,Thank you for your question. At 2 months post op, some discomfort and tightness may still be expected with large implants placed under the muscle. You can expect the breasts to soften and drop more completely over the next few months. I recommend that you let your Plastic Surgeon know if you have ongoing concerns or discomfort.All the best

You still have some tightness in your tissues and probably are feeling your muscle still pulling with movement. This will improve over time as you heal. Please discuss any specific concerns you have with your surgeon.

It is difficult to say without an in person exam, but it sounds as though you may be feeling the pull of the muscle when you move in certain ways.  This is a consequence of having the implants under the muscle.  It affects different patient to different extents.  It is not harmful to you.
