I do not think you are a great candidate for the procedure. The risk of complications outweighs the benefits.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would need to lose weight prior to elective procedure. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Each plastic surgeon while I have their own if you and the appropriateness and willing to do one cosmetic surgery on someone with an active colostomy. Of it should be possible to isolate the colostomy bag but obviously there is always the risk of contamination. A decision also needs to be made if that should be removed in the proximity of the colostomy bag attachment.

External beam radiation , If that’s what you had, could also potentially be an issue.

The best option is to schedule a few in person consultations with local board certified and plastic surgeons to see what each has to say.
