Could my Tummy Tuck be the cause of my oily hair and skin?

Ordinarily I wouldn't think that the tummy tuck is related to your skin changes. However if there has been an extreme loss of weight, perhaps your levels of hormones circulating have changed. Fat in the body participates in some of the metabolism of estrogen. This would be best addressed by either a dermatologist or internist. Good luck.

Congratulations on your surgery and weight loss.  Of course, immediately after surgery may not always be the best time to lose a lot of weight -- your body needs nutrients to heal.  But, it's been almost four months, and I assume you are working with your surgeon to be sure your nutrition is good.I suppose it is possible that some dietary changes you have implemented to help your weight loss could be the cause, but the Tummy Tuck itself is not likely to be.If you are having trouble managing this, and your surgeon doesn't have any other suggestions, I would consider going to a dermatologist to help figure this out (or at least to help treat it).Good luck!
