Hello Carla,

	Its not uncommon to experience a temporary change in your menstrual cycle after surgery.  Surgery and the recovery period (no pun intended) can create physiologic as well as psychologic stress that can lead to a temporary change in an individuals menstrual cycle.  The good news is that your menstrual cycle will normalize on its own.  Of course, some consideration should be given to the possibility of being pregnant.
