Hi, gene22. Are you experiencing this problem out of the blue, or did you just have surgery? If it is a random problem and you have not had surgery, I would recommend seeing your primary care MD. If you have just had a breast reduction, breast lift, or augmentation procedure, I would follow up with your plastic surgeon. Typically, this is not a problem at all if you do NOT have implants underneath, and it should heal in on its own. If you have an implant underneath, I would see your PS as soon as possible to avoid exposure of the implant.
This really depends on how long ago you had your surgery and the technique used for stitching your nipples. However, I think it would be sensible to goback and see your plastic surgeon so they can analyse the situation and adviseyou on the best way forward for you. Inmany cases simple changing the dressing of the area and removal of any stitchescausing irritation can resolve the issue completely. Wish best wishes,Adrian Richards
Without seeing photos it is difficult to say, but it is best to speak and probably see your surgeon to be properly evaluated. Good luck.
Hello, thank you for your question. You should follow up with your Surgeon he/she would give you the best recommendation.
I assume you have recently had some sort of breast surgery and if so you should contact your surgeon. If you haven't had surgery you need to check with your primary care physician.
Withoutseeing a photo it is difficult to tell what is happening. If you areout of town you could always email a photo to your plastic surgeon for hisevaluation and advice. Good luck!
There will be no visible difference between these two implants. They are almost identical in size. For instance, if you are using Mentor implants, both have 4.8 cm of projection. There is a 3 millimeter difference in base width, 11.7cm vs 12cm. I would highly doubt that you will be able to see...
I apologize, but your attached photograph does not appear here on RealSelf. However, I did read your comments and would say the following to most any breast augmentation patient who is only six (6) days' postop: Please - BE PATIENT! Everyone's anatomy is unique, and that principle applies to the...
It would be unusual to have a hematoma six weeks after your breast augmentation unless you were in some some kind of accident. This should be examined by your plastic surgeon.Dr ES
