Should I be concerned about symmastia? 470 CC ultra high profile implants, sternum pain and slight tenting. (photos)

Hello now your breasts are look very good but by the time maybe after 1 year or 5 year you will have swollen but it not depens on gravity.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. Based on your photos, it looks like you don't have symmastia. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Your implants are too large. It is possible that you can develop symmastia in the future. I recommend going with smaller implants. In the meantime, you need to wear a bra with sternal compression.

Thank you for sharing your question. Unfortunately you did not mention how far out from surgery you are, more whether the implants are above or below your muscle. based on your pictures alone it does not appear that you have symmastia as there is a clear demarcation between both breasts. Hope this helps.

I believe your surgeon did a good job and gave you a good result. All implants cause a capsule formation around themselves. It is an issue if that capsule formation is hardened or contracted.Of course it is not possible to distinguish capsular contraction without physical examination. If you had your surgery more then 6 months ago-i assume you did- the capsule formation limits the implants' movement. I see no synmastia. Tenting may be caused by the weight of the implants that is stretching skin.

You chose large implants for your frame, but do not have symmastia now. Do wear a good supporting, but not push up bra, to avoid sagging from the weight.
