I had the perfect derma peel on Thursday (6/1/2017). Why is it taking so long for my skin to appear like it's healing? (Photo)

It is normal for the skin that has peeled away to be red and sensitive. This is new, fresh skin and you should treat it very gently with a mild cleanser, hydrocortisone cream and apply a physical sunscreen everyday. It looks like you're going to have a very nice result but you may want to do another peel in about a month. Good luck!

Honestly i'm not very familiar with this peel specifically, however, we do perform MANY high grade peels like this one and you results looks identical to the process we expect you to go through to get a good peel.  The deep brown is pulling up pigment from the deeper layers of your skin so you can shed it all off with the surface layers.  Sometimes in this process some of the pigment stalls, which is why peels are always recommended in a series.  Keep applying the cortisone or even Aquaphor and avoid scrubbing o vigorously or picking at the flaking skin as this can cause more browns to form when you pull the skin off before it is ready.  Sometimes deeper peels can take 7-14 days to completely heal.
Looking at your results got me very excited about this peel and I started researching it and am actually now bringing in the rep so we may start offering this peel as well. Best of luck and I would schedule another one for 4-6 weeks out as it is recommended by the company for best results to have a series of 3.
