I had the perfect derma peel on Thursday (6/1/2017). Why is it taking so long for my skin to appear like it's healing? (Photo)

I followed the post peel instructions. Some areas of my skin were almost black and they have peeled away but now those areas are red. My skin is very tight and it burns when putting cortizone cream on it. I also have some raised bumps around my chin. It's been 5-6 days and I don't think my face is going to be completely healed in the supposedly 7 days it takes. Should I go see the dermatologist?
