You should keep the burned areas moist , Aquaphor can be purchased at your local drug store and doesn't contain and chemicals or fragrances that would irritate the sensitive skin. I would also see a Paramedical Aesthetician or Dermatologist about reducing the chances for hyperpigmentation marks.  They can potentially give you a prescription 4% Hydroquinone cream to minimize any hyperpigmenation from forming and fade any existing pigmentation irregularities. You typically would stop the Epiduo a week before getting a Chemical Peel to prevent this reaction.

I would schedule a consult with an experienced Paramedical Aesthetican, Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeons office that do peels regularly.  Their is a wide variety of peels making it possible to treat all skin types.  Express your concerns of having sensitive skin and they can start with a mild peel and work you up to a stronger one if necessary.  

Most peels there will be some level of flaking or peeling and some redness, however, there are some peels designed to not have any redness or flaking, they just take much longer to achieve your desired results.

Monthly Chemical Peels can provide great results for anti-aging, acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, etc.

It is hard to say what your side effects would be not knowing what kind of peel it is.  Also, many of the peels patients can purchase to treat themselves are not the same as the ones used in a doctors office that require a physicians license to purchase.  I have seen some TCA peels listed for sale online and those should only be done by a professional.  Although the ones you purchase illegally online typically aren't as strong as they say.  I have a patient that purchased what was supposed to be a 30% TCA which we had done in the office for her many times and she would immediately frost to a solid white.  The one she purchased, there was absolutely no frosting and obviously either not what it said it was, expired or buffered in some way.

If you have a true 30% Glycolic (the most common) you could expect some reddness and light flaking for a couple days.  However this varies for each person.

If it is a true 30% TCA, you should expect your face to turn white (frost) for up to an hour.  If this happens your browns will get very dark as it prepares to peel off, your skin will get very tight and you should have heavy peeling that usually starts day 2-3 and can last 7-10 days.  Again every individual will respond different.

In either case you want to keep the skin moist/hydrated and don't pick or pull at the flaking skin.  Best of luck!

A light chemical peel will not remove any hair or destroy/remove the hair follicle.  The only treatments to destroy the hair follicle would be Laser Hair Removal or Electrolysis.  Some treatments like Dermal-planning can shave the hairs, but they will quickly return as the follicle was not destroyed or affected in any way.

Yes, you can shave between treatments and while you are on hold for treatments.  You would just want to make sure you aren't plucking, waxing or using hair removal creams if you are going to start your treatments again.  The laser goes after the root of the hair and other methods of hair removal (plucking, waxing, threading etc.) will remove the root and there will be nothing for the laser to treat when you restart your sessions.
