I am 6 months post op and have been very disappointed with my body lift with autobuttox augmentation. I had a seroma. after about 3 months i started getting a pouch over my incision line in the front. Now at 6 months i can grab my stomach again like before surgery with the skin. also my love handles are coming back. my buttox is not full and has these like lines through them as if i was wearing underware. i have gained 10lbs since surgery aswell. im not sure where to go from here.
Answer: Body Lift Changed 4 Months After Post-Op Lower Body Lift Thank you for your question regarding your body lift results changing after four months and where you can go from here. Thank you for your history regarding having had a body lift approximately six months ago and being disappointed with your results. Probably the most important thing is your weight gain of 10 pounds. This is significant. The first thing I would suggest is a diet plan. You may want to include a personal trainer and or a registered dietitian. You need to control your weight. This is typically accomplished by increasing protein and decreasing carbs and trying to eliminate sugar and all alcohol. In addition, you need to incorporate exercise. Once you have lost these 10 pounds, I would continue to exercise and try to lose even more weight. I would do this plan for approximately 10 to 12 months. If you still do not obtain the results you were seeking, you may want to revisit with your plastic surgeon. In the meantime, it is essential that you lose the weight that you gained. Thank you for your question regarding your body lift results changing after four months and where you can go from here. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen. Answer: Improving body lift results There are always chances to improve. But you must understand that if you developed significant saggy skin after losing weight or having babies or just bouncing in your weight all your life, means the quality of your tissues have allowed the overstretching. And that won’t change and, it will only be worst over time because we all are getting older and is aggravated with weight variations. You may start losing the weight, commit within yourself to exercise and toning your muscles and then may have a consultation with an expert in the After Weight Loss surgery. Be encouraged!!! The skin removed and all you had previously was not useless. Dr. Cárdenas

Answer: Body lift results Dear smattee747, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
