I am concerned of the dark shaded puffy under eye bags. This is something recent from the beginning of this year. Please help me understand the pros & cons/ risks of having fillers.

Answer: Filler for dark circles Yes, you can consider filler injection in the hollow under eye area to improve the dark circle appearance. Sometimes another option is lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning if there is truly prolapsed fat. Best to see an oculoplastic specialist.

Answer: You can minimize the tear troughs Thanks for the question and thanks for the photo as well. You have tear troughs and with appropriate use of skin care and the proper filler, you can minimize this considerably. We recommend that you consult with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon and learn the various treatment options for you. We recommend the use of Belotero or Restylane Silk in the tear trough areas – these work very well in this area. As well, you need skin care – and many of the cosmeceutical companies have eye creams that may help minimize the color changes as well.
