I received custom lasik from dr. Yaghouti. My previous prescription was just a -1.5 in each eye, with a mild astigmatism in the right. Going on a week now after surgery, my vision is great. My complaint is that my Astigmatism is definitely not gone. It seems better than before, but is definitely noticeable. From what the doctors said pre-surgery, I was under the impression that they would be able to fix this, but, obviously it has not been corrected. Still, not a deal breaker but it is disappointing. Otherwise, I'm very happy, my left eye is awesome and definitely better than 20/20. The halos are starting to go away around lights already and I'm sure within another week I'll be very comfortable with my new vision.
The doctor was very kind and informative. He checked on my eyes and told me that they were healthy. The doctor was very knowledgable on how I should be seeing things and made me feel more comfortable. He seemed like somebody I could ask anything. He helped me prepare for this big procedure and I am grateful.
I have worn glasses/ contacts for over 15 years. I always considered lasik and finally had insurance that could help me cover part of it. The next day I was able to see so well! I am so happy I went through with it, and I recommend the procedure and Global Laser Vision. I went in for a consultation on a Wednesday, and had surgery two days later. Very happy!
Latisse did exactly what it claimed it would do. Lashes grew thicker & darker and filled in completely where they were missing within 2 weeks. Amazing! Perfect for an active person who wants great eyelashes without the fuss. My own hair and lashes are very blond. My new lashes are dark.
I had 2 vials of kybella yesterday. I used lidocaine cream so I did not feel any one the injections. I am still numb today from the injections. I was extremely swollen yesterday. I slept with my neck compressed with a bandage , I do believe this has helped some. I feel like I've been hit bGy a truck. I have been taking 800 mg of ibuprofen and Arnica to help with the swelling. So far I expected the swelling, I am excited to see the outcome. Updated on 5 Mar 2017: Swelling is going down but I still look like a turkey. The numbing sensation is going down. I can somewhat feel my neck but not 100 percent yet, it doesn't hurt anymore. Updated on 5 Mar 2017: Updated on 5 Mar 2017: Updated on 6 Mar 2017: Still swollen but it's getting better. I pray I see results and all this wasn't for nothing. Updated on 6 Mar 2017: The whole purpose of this was to get rid of my double chin. I feel like I have no neck. I really hope this heals soon and I see results :( I'm at work looking like I'm a turkey and it's thanksgiving Updated on 7 Mar 2017: I think the swelling is going down Updated on 8 Mar 2017: Still swollen Updated on 28 Mar 2017: The swelling is all gone. I still have some tingling and numbing sensation left. I noticed bumps where I was injected. I don't notice results yet, but I don't have a before photo here. Updated on 29 Mar 2017: Here are the before photos and today's photos (3.5 weeks after) I do notice a difference. Thoughts?
Hi, I recommend that you do not get another Botox injection and go see an ophthalmologist to evaluate your eyelid function. As frequent Botox injections can lead to a frontalis muscle atrophy, it is possible that may lead to a permanent lowering of the eyebrow and the eyelids. Best, Dr. Yaghouti
In my practice, I typically don't do any touch ups sooner than one week, however the amount you you had injected during your touch up is too little to make too drastic of a difference in your eyebrow position; Best, Dr. Yaghouti.
Swelling following Restylane injection in the tear trough is common, but should gradually resolve within the next week.
Hi Dixie, You cannot be both nearsighted and farsighted, unless you are nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other eye. Some patients may erroneously term a condition called "Presbyopia" (inability to read due to a gradual hardening of the lens inside the eye with aging, typically affecting patients around the age of 40 to 45 and worsening with age) as "farsightedness". If being presbyopic is what you mean by being "farsighted', then PRK is not going to fix that. Best, Dr. Yaghouti.
As long as your physician follows strict cleanliness guidelines for injection, there is no one particular filler that is more associated with biofilm contamination than the others. Limiting the frequency of skin puncture sites using a cannula may also lower the chance of contamination.
