Is it okay to get nipples pierced after breast reduction?

A year after breast reduction, everything should be well healed. You are even further out, so the risks nipple piercing should not be increased by your previous surgery. 

After the breasts are substantially healed I see no problem with piercing. However, this is a question that would be best addressed to your own surgeon.

If you are completely healed then it would be appropriate if you decide to have a piercing. I do not know if the piercings will help your sensitivity.

Thank you for your question.  Assuming that your surgeon is approving of this and enough time has passed since your breast reduction surgery, there should be no reason that I can see why you would not be able to have your nipples pierced.  It is highly, highly unlikely that piercing your nipples will cause the sensation in your nipples to return and you should be sure to only have a piercing performed at a reputable piercing salon who uses and practices sterile technique.  I hope that this helps!

Hi.  Nipple piercing at this time should be fine.  However, it will not affect your nipple sensation. With any piercing, there is a chance for infection; please proceed with piercing at a reputable place.  

can certainly be done following a reduction but as mentioned by others, it will not improve your chances of whether or not sensation will return.  The advantage is that your piercing will not hurt.

It should be fine to pierce your nipples.  I would not expect it to have any effect on your sensibility however.

It has already been several months since your surgery.  It is probably safe to get your nipples pierced at this time.  Nipple piercing should do nothing to changing your nipple sensation.  There is always a risk to possible infection with piercing.  Please review your plans with your surgeon prior to doing.  Good luck.
