Nipples too high after breast reduction. Can it be fixed? (Photo)

I am 25 years old and recently had a breast reduction (was done on the 27th July 2015 to be exact) so far I've healed ok apart from a small infection on my right breast. Oneed thing that's been bothering me is that I feel that my nipples are too high. What could they do to rectify this and what would I be left with (scar wise). This is a photo from when the glue was still on and about 3 weeks after as i haven't had the guts to take anymore.

Thank you for your picture.  I would wait 3 months to allow the swelling to resolve then re-evaluate the position of the nipples.  After 3 months, if the nipples are too high a revision can be planned.

Thank you for sharing your photos and concerns.  Your
very early in the recovery phase. Your breast will change over the next few months.   Final results take 6 months.  After 6 months, a revision can be performed if needed.   Please express your concerns to your Plastic surgeon.

Thank you for the question and picture. Your concerns are certainly understandable but it is still too early to evaluate the long-term outcome of the procedure performed. This evaluation is best done six months to one year after the breast reduction procedure was performed.In the longer term, if the same issues/concerns remain, then revisionary breast surgery will be necessary. Removal of additional skin/tissue along the lower breast poles will serve to improve the shape of the breast and lower the  position of the nipple/areola complexes on each breast mound.  This would require acceptance of a transverse scar along the infra mammary fold areaa. Best wishes.
