I've been to primary doctor and ENT but my nose is still swollen on both sides. Was on antibiotics, Flonase and ENT did CAT scan and basically says there's nothing wrong. Except, my nose is still swollen!!!
Answer: Swollen nose I'm not sure i can tell where the swelling is. If you are talking about the area where the cheek meets the nose, i think that is caused by volume loss in the midface. It's a bit counterintuitive, but it's not that that area is swollen, but that the cheek around that area has lost volune making that area appear prominent. You would need filler in the cheek to improve this.

Answer: Can you fix my nose that is swollen on both sides? Hello. Great question. Thank you for your pictures. However, one image alone and no previous images from when your nose was not swollen is not enough to evaluate your concerns. Did you have an accident or facial procedure. Please visit a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed surgical plan to achieve your desired results.

Answer: Likely volume changes Hello - I agree with others, it would be best to meet with a facial plastic surgeon. That way you can describe specifically your areas of concern and the history of when you noticed changes. Was there a specific event (injury or illness) that caused the change or has it been gradual? If it is the fullness on either side of the nose, this would require a history and exam to rule out any other causes, but is very likely due to volume changes in the face with aging. As the cheek/lid volume reduces and changes position, it leaves new areas of increased or decreased volume that creates the illusion of swelling or bumps. It is likely that the progressive hollow on the lower eyelid is causing the appearance of swelling under it on the junction of the nose and cheek. Filler, fat grafting, lower eyelid blepharoplasty are all options depending on your overall goals.

Answer: Wide nose I don’t think the appearance of your nose is caused by a medical condition. It’s an aesthetic condition which is why the doctors you have seen couldn’t find anything wrong with it. You should see an experienced plastic surgeon if you wish the have the appearance altered.

Answer: Swollen nose It is not possible from one photograph to really tell whether your nose is swollen or not. Selfies also distort and make a nose look wider. You would need to compare with earlier photographs taken in the same way. It is very unlikely that your nose has become swollen symmetrically and without symptoms or signs of inflammation. The changes may be because of volume loss in your face elsewhere and loss of skin support. Find some photographs of when you thought the swelling was not present and take these to a consultation with a facial plastic surgeon.
