Hello doctors, I am 24 years old.I have started loosing hair from last 3 years. Father side family has hair loss background . I would like to do FUE hair transplant or any other solution .??? Based on attached pictures How many grafts do I need .?? How much does it cost .?? Is there any good doctor near Montreal , CA . Areas.?? Is there any other solution available .?? Your helps will be heighly appreciated. Thank you

The prices for FUE surgery can vary and depends on the number of grafts that used and travel package which our patients would prefer.
In my practice, prices for FUE surgery reaches from 1850 Euro up to 3750 Euro range, and it also includes the travel package such as accommodation, local transfers, and language assistance.

It depends on what your diagnosis is.  What happens if you're diagnosed with a possible Norwood 6 later in life?So it depends on a future plan and number of grafts.The cost is variable and range from $4 to $12 a graft in the LA area.

At 24 you should definitely look into other options before opting for hair transplant. At this time there isn't a way to know what your hair loss pattern will be later in your life, and so having a hair transplant procedure now may look bad later on if your future hair loss isn't accounted for. Definitely consult with a doctor in person, and they will probably have you consider non-surgical methods to reduce hair loss, or possibly even restore hair, such as Propecia or Rogaine. As for actually determining cost of a potential hair transplant, you would definitely need an in-person consultation for that.

your hair loss looks like a genetic male pattern hair loss.  At this stage, you can do hair transplant to regain your lost hair and start on a medical regiment to slow down future hair loss.  If you want to lower your line and fill in the thinning areas, you need about 2000 grafts in the frontal area.  Propecia and rogaine work best to slow down the hair loss in the crown area. It is best to get a consult either by sending email with more pictures and history of your hair loss or do a phone consult.

Before I would consider a hair transplant, see a good doctor. At 24 years of age, you should be trying the drug Propecia and a good doctor will write a script for you. A hair transplant without a trial of the drug Propecia for a year, would be a terrible mistake. Maybe the hair will grow back and you might never need a hair transplant.
