I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Compression garments cannot permanently change of fat distribution.This is true for both Liposuction and fat transfer results.Your outcome is a direct reflection of how the procedure was done.The indentation represents the surgeons overzealous technique during the procedure.There’s no proof the compression garments do anything. The main reason plastic surgeons used them is because everybody else does.There are lots of plastic surgeons who never use compression garments, and their results are exactly the same as those who do.Liposuction should be considered a permanent and irreversible procedure.It may be possible to even out the contour by removing more fat adjacent to the area over treated.Equality assessment will for sure require an in person evaluation.I suggest you follow up with the surgeon who did your procedure or schedule a few in person second opinion consultations with other plastic surgeons in your community.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
