I have never had filler before, but want to get my chin and possibly lips filled. I went to see a doctor today, she suggested using 0.5ml of Belotero in my chin and 1 ml in lips, as I want very natural looking results. I don’t mind if the cleft is still visible after procedure, I just want it to be way less noticeable. Does it look like 0.5ml will be enough for my chin? And if I add the other half to the lips (would make 1.5ml), would that be too much/unnatural looking?
Answer: Filler For Cleft Chin I would not use Belotero in your chin, I don't think it would make much of a difference. I would prefer either Restylane Lyft or Voluma. 0.5-1cc should be enough and you can always add more if needed. 1 syringe should be fine for your lips, but again I would use another filler other than Belotero to give you a little more plump. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced physician. Best wishes.

Answer: Wrong filler choice Hi,Belotero is too soft to adequately address the chin dimple. I would recommend a filler such as Juvederm Voluma or Restylane Lyft. 0.5 cc is likely an adequate volume. 1 cc of filler in the lips is pretty standard and will not be too much.Best,

Answer: Chin cleft Thank you for your photo. I am not a big fan of Belotero in the chin since Belotero is one of the thinnest fillers. The chin has some of the thickest and tightest skin of the face and will require a filler that can hold its shape better with more lift to create a noticeable difference. Placing Belotero may not make a noticeable difference against the strength of the chin tissue. Better options include Juvederm Ultra Plus or Juvederm Voluma, Restylane Lyft or Radiesse. Of the three, I find Voluma to give the best natural appearing results for the chin. Hope this helps! Johnson C. Lee, MD Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Optimal filler for chin cleft and lips I personally don't believe that belotero would be a good filler as it is too thin and is primarily used for very fine lines. You need a product that is much sturdier, either Restylane Lyft, Radiesse or even Restylane Sub-Q. Your lips on the other hand appear to be rather full and I don't think you need anything else in your lips, but if you desire so, Juvederm would make an excellent filler. Good luck for New York City

Answer: Filler for Chin Cleft This is a great question. Belotero is good for superficial lines. I would tend to recommend a more substantial filler from the Restylane or Juvederm collection for your chin. 0.5 mL might be an appropriate amount. This is a very common and easy procedure. You should be pleased with the result. You have great natural lips but I am sure you could handle one syringe (1.0mL) if desired. Another alternative is Juvederm Volbella for your lips. It comes as a smaller syringe of ~0.55mL and a lower price point. It might be a good place for you to start.
