Hello,Great question. I would recommend a minimum of 2 weeks after any botox or dysport trreatment before getting microneedling. The thought is that it takes 2 weeks maximum for any neurotoxin to complete set in. We also don't want the micrineedling to possibly disrupt the dysport placement.
I agree with my colleagues below. Wait 2 weeks after any injections. It takes 2 weeks for the dysport to fully kick in, while it’s unlikely to cause any problems after 24 hours I would not recommend taking the risk. Best of luck!
Although the Dysport will have probably already settled the day after treatment, the general recommendation is to wait 14 days before having your microneedling treatment. Alternatively, you could discuss with your injector to see if he/she has a different opinion on the timing.
I would wait 14 days at least before microneedling after Dysport, Botox or Xeomin. You could microneedle first then immediately after have the injections though. Hope this helps.
Hi JGar62,Microneedling can be done before Dysport but not vice versa. While Dysport would have settled after a few hours and not likely to move, it is better to wait and see the full effects 10-14 days post-op.All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.

Hi @denise3104! Redness a couple days post procedure is normal. However, it does seem quite unusual to still be experiencing numerous symptoms 5 days post procedure. I would recommend returning to the provider who performed the procedure. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
