I've gotten microneedling done 3 times now. I still have active acne. The first time I did it I thought she'd avoid the active acne, but she didn't. Two more times after, I asked her to avoid the acne and she didn't. I've broken out badly all over my face every time afterwards, and I'm still breaking out from the last time she microneedled (which was weeks ago). I'm definitely going to take care of this acne before going back, but how long do you think it will take for it to go away?

Hi @denise3104! Redness a couple days post procedure is normal. However, it does seem quite unusual to still be experiencing numerous symptoms 5 days post procedure. I would recommend returning to the provider who performed the procedure. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
