In most cases, liposuction and a breast lift can be combined. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of breast lifts each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
You did not state what you wanted to have liposuctioned concurrent with a breast lift but there really is no contraindication to it. It is a common adjunct if there is excess fat in the bra roll lateral to the breast mound.
Combining breast surgery and liposuction is perfectly reasonable. You don't mention the areas for liposuction, but I will assume you are talking about body areas. That particular combination is a common one and should not be a problem. Good luck!
Generally speaking, liposuction surgery can be done at the same time as mastopexy surgery. Sometimes liposuction surgery is a useful tool when it comes to contouring the breasts and/or chest wall area during breast surgery (reduction or lifting). Other areas of the torso may also be treated as indicated. Best wishes.
Your question is a broad one, and I have to assume you're asking whether liposuction done elsewhere on the body can be done at the time of breast lift. Yes, liposuction is frequently done along with other procedures such as breast lift.
I assume the liposuction is planned to be done on other areas besides the breasts. Doing a mastopexy is fine in combinatin with liposuction of other areas in most patients.
For some patients this will provide an added benefit, for many there is not a problem in those areas needing treatment. There is really not enough info here to answer. Without photos, no specific suggestions can be forthcoming.Which areas are you considering? All the best.
Liposuction can easily added as an adjuct to your breast lift procedure. It is very common to do this. But there will likely additional fees involved with the additional procedures. Please see a board certified PS to learn more about your options.
Assuming there are no complicating medical conditions there should be no problem doing a medium volume liposuction at the same time as a lift as this is commonly done in our practice.. This gives the ability to harmonize the overall torso contours and can improve the results of the individual surgeries. Obviously your surgeon must feel a combined procedure is safe and efficacious.
Thanks for the question. After 6-8 weeks your surgery area will healed and yes you can doing yoga and also do other activities. I wish you all the best.
As sensibility returns to the nipple and areola after a mastopexy patients can experience some extra tenderness. This will improve as time passes.
All surgical procedures carry some degree of risk. Any breast operation can result in changes in sensation. This happens less with lifts than reductions but is still possible Occasionally, minor complications occur and do not affect the surgical outcome. Major complications associated with...
