Are there any cheaper alternatives to Embrace Scar therapy for tension? Skin medica vs Biocorneum?

Is there another way to lesson tension? Even if it's not the prettiest looking setup. I'm also undecided for silicone gels. I've seen great results with biocorneuum. I'm currently using skin medica's scar recovery gel.

I prefer dynamic scar treatments with Plato's Scar Serum vs. static treatments such as Embrace. Scars need to be modulated and static therapy can only do so much. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles

Thanks for your question. You want to start Embrace after the remodeling phase of wound healing starts. I typically recommend starting between day 14 to 24 after surgery. Best, Dr. Aldo
