Hi, I've always been very self-conscious about my extremely square jaw. I'm fourteen right now, and I'm afraid of it growing bigger. Is there anything that I can do right now to avoid it becoming bigger, and what surgery would yo recommend for me in the future?

At  age of 14 you are just about to complete bone maturation of the face. This means that your face will not change much in the future providing that you do not gain weight. Your face is symmetric and very attractive based on my aesthetic criteria.  I would suggest doing nothing at least for next 2 years. Good luck.

Men are prone to square, masculine lower jaws, which are considered unattractive for women or patients seeking facial feminization. Jaw narrowing surgery, also referred to as a jaw contouring procedure, helps soften the jawline and make it more feminine in appearance.  This can also be corrected by relaxing the masseters  (bite muscles) with botox.  I recommend you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic facial surgery.  Because botox is less invasive option, it would be wise to seek this as your primary treatment option first before moving forwrd with any surgical procedures.

YOu look like a cover girl. Sometimes the masseters, the bite muscles, get enlarged and contribute to the square jaw. You can botox or dsyport them after a physical examination by someone who knows about these things, and it will thin the muscle and make the face look thinner. There are operations which remove bone and muscle but I don't think you need this degree of facial violence. This is commonly done in Asian countries like Korea.  Many people would die to look like you
