I would find several board certified surgeons you think produce excellent results; then consider cost. I think it is always better to get it right the first time. Lipo prices will fluctuate depending upon the area of the anatomy being targeted and the work necessary to remove the amount of fat the patient desires, i.e. lipo of the neck will cost less than lipo of the abdomen, buttocks or thighs. Query it for the geographical locations of interest to you.Limited liposuction can be done under local anesthesia. You do not want to be in pain during the procedure so that the surgeon must stop the procedure or do less than what is necessary. For this reason, general is a better option for my patients.
