16 days post lipo to abd, back, circumferential thigh. Before lipo, lost 70 lbs on my own but hips + butt would not go down. I opted against tummy tuck but hips and thighs are still big. Zero diff in back and bra area. Abd has weird dent. Doc says too early but shouldn't I see better results? Back to surg weight so isn't swelling gone? I paid 16k and feel defeated. Will it really get better? He took out 5.25 liters- enough? if I need more, how soon can I get it done? Pay for surgery again?
Answer: Will lipo results get better? Not much difference and weird indentation. Thank you for your question and photos. As a massive weight loss patient, you should've had a staged procedure. Often patients focus on one defect, which bothers them most and loose the perspective on the big picture. In my experience, I prefer to do VASER Hi Def liposuction 360 degrees first ( you do not show side and back views, again focusing on the obvious only). I'm quite sure that you can use fat transfer to the buttocks to enhance your feminine figure. As a second stage procedure, an abdominoplasty with muscle tightening would further define an athletic, feminine shape. It sounds like you had all these areas treated (no abdominoplasty), but with poor results. This is the reason why it is important to choose a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques to achieve the best results. You are early in your recovery, but even after the swelling resolves, you will not have the results you were hoping for. Wait 3-6 months and discuss your concerns with your surgeon or seek a second opinion. Good luck.

Answer: Will Need Secondary Procedures Hello, Based on your photos, it appears that this surgery was insufficient. You'll need additional liposuction and an abdominoplasty to achieve excellent results. Non-surgical, high tech devices that involve energy sources will offer you very little in additional benefits. If your surgeon isn't an ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeon, than you should have a second opinion consultation with a few who are. Best of luck!

Answer: Liposuction Results & After care includes RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra) Cellutone/zwave, hyperbaric oxygen It is too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend following up with your Doctor to make sure your compression garment is fitting correctly. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. However, you may have some skin laxity, which would need a tummy tuck to get the smoothest result. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Liposuction results Dear PostOpLipo,it looks like your plastic surgeon did a good job. However, swelling after liposuction can mask the results. I would suggest you to follow your surgeon's instructions and wait for the swelling to completely resolve. If you aren't satisfied with the results of your liposuction, you can consider a revision liposuction or a tummy tuck. Answer: Dr Derby Sang Thank you for your question. It would have been best for you to have a Tummy Tuck done together skin, because excessive skin does not get resolved with lipo only. It is best to talk with your surgeon about this. Best of luck
