I experienced extreme cortisone atrophy in the stomach area and curious what the normal stages are during recovery. It’s a 2x2” circular area and within the first 2 weeks the lump of fat felt bumpy under skin. Was this normal? It softened over time but I’m still able to feel gaps where the fat didn’t completely fill in the atrophy location. I will need another surgery to add more fat so would like to know if the initial lumps should have been massaged early on to even out the fill in process.
