Bumpy bleph scars - seek revision?

Question

~9 months post-upper and lower bleph. I’ve had persistent bumps along my incisions, currently working with an oculoplastic whose done 2 rounds of profrac laser to help with the suture bumps and flatten out scar but it might be making it worse? Also dealing with ocular rosacea and blepharitis and recently started IPL for those issues. Do I stop the profrac orask about other laser options? Do I seek out a revision once I’m done with IPL? Feeling very discouraged and wish I hadn’t had disolvables.

You can try steroid or 5FU injections to help with the thicker areas of the scar. Massaging the scar is also very effective for improving the bumpiness. If the IPL does not help I would then consider surgical revision after a few months.

I prefer either CO2 laser or radiofrequency energy along the incision. The CO2 will achieve added tightening and diminish the incisional scar. A TCA chemical peel is another option.

Not sure why "bells and whistles" fraxel laser treatments were tried here first, but intralesional injections of an anti-inflammatory agent, such as triamcinolone acetonide, has been a first line treatment  for hypertrophic scars from all causes for many decades--and with an excellent track record for efficacy. 
You would be wise to consult with an experienced board certified cosmetic dermatologist scar treatment specialist. Hope this helps and best of luck.
