Hi, I've always been self-conscious about my bulging lower eyelids. Can a lower blepharoplasty address this insecurity? I don't have any undereye bags, but the orbicularis oculi muscle is quite prominent. I'm wondering if a lower blepharoplasty ca remove the excess gmuscle and tighten the skin, and if there is a biggrr chance of getting botched or unnatural results compared to regular blepharoplasty for eyebags. I'm not too keen on fillers and Botox.

If those bulges feel firm, perhaps this is filler. Since they are symmetrical on both sides, my initial impression was that this could just simply be nasalis muscle on both sides. Please consider meeting with several reputable facial plastic surgeons for a definitive answer. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
