I had contour threads placed in my cheek area more than 8 years ago . The right side threads were dimpled and were removed by a different doctor. The threads were determined to be ones that would not dissolve. I can still feel the threads that remain on my left side. I’m scheduled for a mini facelift and have some deep concerns on the remaining threads causing complications. My fear is that taking the threads out may damage nerves and leaving them in will affect the results.
