By the 1st week I felt mid and lower butt was as flat as before sx with little projection. I paid 6k and these are the results? The wristband said R/L 1400 cc. and doctor said per cheek! Really? I asked for removal of fat on top shelflike, and wanted hourglass with an upside down heart. But I don't see bruising on top. Said I'm square. Could fibers have been cut to minimize cellulite? Now I have folds in my back too. Does this qualify for a revision or is this considered needing a second round (touch up)? Not looking for Kim K either, but something sexier. It looks worse. How to fix this? TY

Answer: BBL results Dear cdbullandbear, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a BBL surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery. Answer: I plan on a tummy tuck, but do I need a revision 360 and BBL or a touch up? (photo) Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)

Answer: BBL Expectations Without preoperative photos and more views (lateral), it is difficult to fully assess your situation. The appearance of your buttocks in the photo looks like pressure was prematurely applied to the buttocks. After a BBL, no pressure whatsoever other than the garment and clothing should be applied to the buttocks for at least six weeks - this means no sitting or laying on the buttocks for at least six weeks. I advise my patients to use a special thigh roll when sitting/driving that puts no pressure on the butt and to only lay on the stomach for the first six weeks after BBL. Otherwise patients end up with a bigger, but flat butt. And nobody wants that. Bruising does not always occur with liposuction but can occur after fat transfer. Revisions, if necessary, are best after the initial healing and swelling have subsided and scar tissue has softened. This may be as long as 12-18 months after the initial procedure Direct your questions and concerns to your plastic surgeon as she/he knows exactly what went on during your case, including if there was a disruption of the fibers. And definitely do not have a tummy tuck and a revision of the BBL at the same time. Otherwise when you’re recovering from the tummy tuck (beach chair position), you’ll be sitting on the BBL, making it flat once again. I personally don’t believe BBL and abdominoplasty procedures should be done at the same time if truly seeking the best result.
