Hello and Great Question. I appreciate the time you are spending researching this procedure. My name is Dr. Matthew J. Nykiel. I am a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, a Fellowship Trained Cosmetic Surgeon, and a Butt Augmentation Specialist.I generally have my patients stay off the buttock for 6 weeks, after this they can do anything they want, however, every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.I hope that helps! Best of Luck!Matthew J. Hello, Typically I recommend that patients refrain from activities such as colon cleanses or colonics for at least 6 weeks. Every surgeon has their own protocols and every patient recovers at their own pace. It is best to speak with the surgeon you are considering for your BBL. As always I recommend seeking a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to perform your procedure. Hope this helps. Best Wishes, Dr. Lane Smith Las Vegas, NV
I do not recommend colon cleanse after a BBL, but your PS may have different post-operative protocols. Discuss your question with your PS and then decide what you should do. Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Great question! Although you may get different answers, I would wait about 4-6 weeks after a BBL to get a colonic. I generally have my patients stay off the buttock for about 4-6 weeks, after this they can do anything they want.Best of luck and hope this information helps!- Dr. Roger Tsai Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

I suggest seeing your surgeon or another doctor to take a closer look at what is going on. He or she will be able to evaluate the problem and hopefully resolve it.
