Without photos, unable to determine candidacy. Most surgeons will want you to have a BMI under 32 to have this surgery. Look at the "before and after" photos of butt implants and BAs on the BCPSs' websites, number of surgeries performed, and patient feedback. However, nothing can replace an in-office consultation with an experienced BCPS who can review your medical history, anatomy, reasonableness of your expectations, and answer any questions of concern. BBL recovery is shorter than buttock implant surgery recovery. There is probably less pain with the subfascial technique; however, most plastic surgeons will place them in an intramuscular position to reduce complications. Following butt implant surgery, patients may not be able to sit for 14-21 days. In an uncomplicated recovery, easing back into exercise at 2 months would not be unreasonable. The key to butt implant surgery is to select an implant that is not so large that the muscle cannot cover it reliably. You want a nice result, but you want to avoid the implant complications (need for removal, infection, extrusion, fluid collection, implant migration, implant visibility, and capsular contracture among others). Studies have demonstrated that sizes above 350 cc have a greater rate of complications. Full breast augmentation recovery will take 4 weeks in most cases. You can usually return to a sedentary job 3 or 4 days after breast augmentation. During the first 3 to 4 days, the muscle spasms can be intense but well managed with medication. Those with smaller implants may not encounter this to a great degree. The two surgeries can be combined, but I would recommend that you stage them.
